Mini Explorers is a group for adults with little ones!

There are activities for toddlers and pre-schoolers that are inquisitive and just love being outdoors, there is space for parents who just enjoy meeting others with their babies to enjoy the serenity of the woods.

There is no age limit really, this group is for you and your little explorer!

LOCATION FARLEY MOUNT

A 2 hour morning Mini Explorers session is £10.00 a week ( based on 1 child and 1 adult)

Additional siblings over 12 months are £2.50 per session.

To secure your place you need to book for 6 weeks (or 5 weeks depending on the term) and pay in advance (we don't offer a drop in and pay service) to request a place please fill in our registration form by following the link above.

Of course, we understand that things can change! If you find you're no longer able to attend, please let me know no later than 1 week before the term starts to receive a full refund.

Friday 10.00am - 12.00pm

Our group sizes are not too big and offer a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to relax around the campfire in our lovely meadow and woodland environment, to make new friends while your little ones enjoy hands on experiences exploring their senses. We will be learning about the environment hunting for bugs, arts and crafts with natural materials. There is a mud kitchen for imagination and always a toasty treat on the campfire.

A child initiated environment where parents/carers and children can explore together.

Good for the mind, good for the soul!

Children need to wear appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes or wellies (depending on the weather) and waterproofs. Please note: long trousers, long-sleeved tops and closed shoes are essential protection against stinging nettles, rough wood and ticks.

Their day bag should include a full set of changing clothes, including underwear and socks, in case of toileting accidents or wet weather.

Please bring a water bottle for your child, we will be cooking a tasty snack over the campfire during the session but if your child is used to eating certain foods or has allergies please let Sam know beforehand.

Soap and water and antibacterial gel are used for hand washing before eating.

We have a lot of Policies and Procedures as you would expect, please just ask if you wish to see or understand any part of our business.
