Following a year of lockdowns we are now running groups each week for parents/carers and toddlers on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, 10am - 12pm each week.
A wonderful outdoor environment where you can explore together, enjoy being in the fresh air, the sky is your ceiling, the grass your floor. Come and join us as we enjoy the great outdoors together.

What is Mini Explorers?
Mini Explorers is a great way to introduce children to Forest School activities. As well as a beautiful woodland to explore and crafts to create, each session includes cooking a tasty treat on the campfire, whittling a stick, messy play in the mud kitchen or just enjoying quality time making new friends and chilling in our natural surroundings.
A typical session includes:
Forest School ranger directed activity
Hunting for mini beasts
Safety rules through fun games
Tasty treats toasted on the campfire
Tasty treats in the mud kitchen!

Mini Explorers is a group for adults with little ones!
The price for Mini Explorers is £8.50 per family, to request a place please fill in our registration form by following the link above.
Mini Explorers takes place at our woodland site in Toothill, just outside Romsey every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning 10am - 12.00pm.
Clothing and kit
Children need to wear appropriate clothing, sturdy shoes or wellies (depending on the weather) and bring waterproofs. Please note: long trousers, long-sleeved tops and closed shoes are essential protection against stinging nettles, rough wood and ticks.
Please bring a water bottle for your child, we will be cooking a tasty snack over the campfire during the session but if your child is used to eating certain foods or has allergies please let Sam know beforehand.
