About the event
This popular new site with meadows and woodland is part of the Broadlands Estate and we are delighted to welcome children back to our activity camp this Summer 2022. School holidays are a great time for children to be outdoors whatever the weather, enjoying time with friends around the campfire.Â
With qualified forest school leaders activities can include bushcraft, fire lighting, den building and rope swings! Â Children can enjoy natural arts and crafts or maybe climbing a tree and hanging out in a hammock. Â There will be treasure hunts, campfire cooking including, of course, the traditional toasted marshmallow! Â A fun filled day guaranteed to have children wanting s'more!!
Covid precautions - Playing alongside, team work and friendships are an important part of play for children, social distancing can be difficult, we are confident that we have measures and risk assesments in place that the risk of infection is lowered. Through games and activities we will talk to the children about social distancing and good hygiene, tools, resources and equipment will be cleaned with antibacterial wipes between each use.
We will be carrying out a digital temperature check on arrival and if your child or any member of your family have suffered with a persistent cough, high temperature, loss of taste or smell I ask that you do not attend camp.
