About the event
Easter is a great time of the year where Spring is in the air! We have a beautiful location just outside Winchester with a woodland that children can explore, get lost in their immagination, make friends, create dens and play games. Â We have activities for children who are in primary school from age 4 - 14 years*
A short walk to the woods takes us to our forest school site where our campfire is at the heart of our day. Children are learning how to be safe around the fire, they can learn to light their own little fire and also cook on the campfire.
With adult guidance children are using tools like hammers, peelers and a bow saw to create wood art. Some children enjoy bug hunting or just happy to chill in a hammock or read a book in a tree! Â At Easter time there will always be an Easter Egg hunt with challenges set along the way!
School holidays at My Little Explorers is fun and perfect for children who just want to play! All you need to remember is to pack the right clothes and a lunch (campfire hot dog lunch is an option). We have trained forest school practitioners running camp and we are all big kids at heart.
*Please note, your child has to already have started in Reception year to be able to attend our Activity camp.
Easter Activity Camp is located in Ampfield Woods along Winchester Road. There is no fixed postcode for our location however we recommend using the app What3Words with the location tag: ///hides.beauty.admiral
The entrance to is approximately 120 yards south of St Mark's Church along Wincehster Road.Â
